Who needs in-home care?
In-home care can benefit people of all ages, from children to older adults, who need support due to illness, injury, disability, or changes in cognitive or other ability levels. Care may be short-term or ongoing, depending on the situation.
How much do your services cost?
The cost of care depends on the type of services you need and what funding sources may apply. To provide an accurate estimate, we’ll schedule an in-home assessment where we can talk through your needs and guide you through coverage and payment options.
What are my payment options for home care services?
Payment options may include Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage plans, private pay, private insurance, workers’ compensation, Veterans Affairs benefits, long-term care insurance, Medicaid Waiver programs, and other funding sources. Are your home care services covered through Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance?
Yes, services may be covered through Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance for qualified individuals. Coverage depends on the type of care needed and eligibility requirements.
Is your agency licensed?
Advanced Home Health Care is a Medicare-certified home health agency. Medicare certification reflects compliance with federal standards of care and quality. Our agency is also certified by the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals and Licensing.
Are your caregivers insured and bonded?
Our clinicians hold the appropriate licenses for their roles, and our caregivers are trained and screened to meet our standards for in-home care. All staff are covered under our agency policies.

Who can receive in-home care?
People of all ages with a variety of health needs may qualify for in-home care. Some services require physician orders and medical eligibility, depending on coverage. Our team can help you understand what may apply to your situation.
Will I be able to reach someone after hours?
Yes. Our clients have access to after-hours support, including an on-call nurse, so you can reach someone when questions or concerns come up outside of regular office hours.
How quickly can I arrange for service?
Our goal is to arrange services within 48 hours of your request, depending on care needs, location, and availability.
Do you require a minimum number of hours or days per week?
Care plans are flexible and based on individual needs. Some services may have minimum visit requirements, which we’ll review with you during your assessment.
Are your services available in nursing homes or assisted living facilities?
Yes. We can provide services wherever someone calls home, including assisted living or nursing facilities.
What if my caregiver is sick or unavailable?
We plan for coverage whenever possible so care can continue if a caregiver is unavailable. Our team works to minimize disruption and keep care consistent.
What kind of in-home care services do you provide?

How are your caregivers screened?
All team members complete a thorough interview process and background checks. Licensed clinicians maintain required credentials, and caregivers are selected for both professional qualifications and their ability to work well in home settings.
What kind of training do your caregivers receive?
Our care team participates in ongoing training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and care standards. This helps ensure the care you receive reflects current clinical guidance and practical, in-home experience.
